Rare Antique Indigo Kasuri Hemp Noragi

An antique indigo 'noragi' kimono from the early 20th century. Noragi is worn by farmers in rural area in Japan in old days. It is made for workers to be worn comfortably and also functional as indigo dyed cotton keeps away from insects. This piece shows signs of wear with some areas needing mending, yet remains wearable and rich in character.
