Rare Vintage Silk ’Somewake' Furoshiki

A rare silk 'somewake furoshiki' wrapping cloth from the early to mid 20th century. 'Somewake' refers to the technique of dyeing fabric diagonally in two different colors, and this cloth features black and grey using the shibori technique. One corner is hand-dyed with shibori, adding a unique texture.

It is in good vintage condition and can also be worn as a scarf.
