Vintage Silk Urushi-ori Kimono Fabric Sold By The Metre

A roll of women’s kimono silk from the mid-20th century, crafted using the unique urushi-ori technique. This piece incorporates finely shredded paper coated with red lacquer (urushi), creating a floating cloud motif. The cloud motif, considered auspicious, is often seen in Buddhist decoration.

This uncut roll has never been used and is in great condition. It is available for purchase by the meter.
