Vintage Women's Fukuro Obi

A vintage women's 'fukuro' obi in a beautiful lilac colour with traditional motifs of court nobles based on gorgeous imaginary flowers.

Fukuro obi is the most common type of obi worn for formal or semi formal occasions since the 1950s. It is a simplified version of fully patterned Maru obi, usually patterns on two-thirds of the front length with a plain, full-length back.

The obi s in very good condition.
